SLEDGE-PROJECT

Uummanatsiaq, Greenland.

Two sledges that can be towed with dogs or a snowmobile over the sea-ice. The houses are insulated and can be used for sitting, cooking and sleeping. Each sledge-house can accomodate about 6 people.

Material: wood, insulation, perspex windows and traditionally build sledge.

    I’d love an update on this project. Does it still exist and what are your next plans? We featured you on Atlas of the Future a few years ago as one of our very first projects.
