SLEDGE-PROJECT
Uummanatsiaq, Greenland.
Two sledges that can be towed with dogs or a snowmobile over the sea-ice. The houses are insulated and can be used for sitting, cooking and sleeping. Each sledge-house can accomodate about 6 people.
Material: wood, insulation, perspex windows and traditionally build sledge.

The sledges are still there and are being used!
Even Kofi Annan visited the sledges 🙂
There are no new plans for Greenland…on my website you can see new works…a large new work: TIMELINE in the water is now in construction…finished in october november
