Hillegom, Aluminium – Earth, 0,75×0,75×11 metres, permanent artwork.

Earthpillar is standing in the heart of the bulb cultivation area. World wide known for it’s Tullip fields. The artwork wants to show that which we usually don’t see, the earth/soil on which our flowers and all our food grows. Earthpillar likes to motivate us humans to take good care of our soil.

On top of the tower is living grass. It’s like a pixel pulled out of the ground to show what’s underneath the grass.
